Dane Goetz, President
Dane is a co-owner of the Spearfish Black Hills KOA campground and South Dakota Residency Center. He is passionate about working with our team to make sure we have happy campers and that we provide excellence in residency and mail solutions for our customers.
Dane is from a small rural community in South Dakota where he grew up on a farm. His education included a Pharmacy degree from South Dakota State University. After a rewarding career in Pharmacy, he and his wife moved to Spearfish in 2002 to manage the family businesses and real estate interests.
When not traveling, Dane enjoys his time in the gym, socializing with friends and family, and planning for the next adventure with the wife and kids.
Lawrence Hague, KOA Manager
Larry's career has encompassed a broad range of experience. As a young man, he was on a Nevada swim team, where he set multiple state records. As a young adult, Larry served in the Marines as an IT expert prior to being honorably discharged due to injuries. He then worked for the SUMA Corporation, EDT and IGT serving both as an IT and a Guest Services Representative. From there, he pursued a career in tourism and gaming that culminated in his acquiring a degree in Tourism with a minor in business administration.
After many years in the gaming industry, he semi-retired and spent his time on the road in a diesel pusher touring around the US with his partner, Cindy. Two years down that road, he and Cindy decided to take on the task of managing the Spearfish Black Hills KOA and developing the South Dakota Residency Center in their "extra" time.
Larry enjoys gaming and family and has recently decided to learn to fish, as he thoroughly enjoys eating them.
Cynthia Hague, KOA Manager
Cindy has an extensive background in management and sees the residency center as a new chance to offer great customer service. Her career choices have taken her through the food industry, casino gaming, campground management, and business start-ups in a variety of geographic locations. Cindy has served on many volunteer boards including CASA, the Deadwood Jam and the Kool Deadwood Nites event. She attended South Lake Tahoe Community College for a short period in pursuit of an accounting degree, but chose to raise a family instead. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and reading when time permits.
Kimberly J. Larson, Accountant
Kim is an accountant who enjoys the challenge of numbers and working with clients from diverse backgrounds and occupations. Her studies include a Bachelor of Science in Physics, a Masters in Business Administration, and a Certified Public Accountant license.
Kim grew up on a ranch in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota and understands the value of hard work and discipline. She invests those values in every aspect of her work and finds great satisfaction in helping clients with their accounting and tax needs.
When Kim is not in front of a computer working, she enjoys hiking on her family ranch and engaging in various outdoor activities, including enjoying her two horses.
